Intoxicado (rock, blues)

Intoxicado is a band from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The band formed at the end of 2006 with the intention of playing blues, but as a result of their diverse range of influences - Gun’s N’ Roses, The Black Crowes, Faith No More, Blue Rodeo and 1970’s Elton John – their sound grew into hard-hitting, alt-country blues rock. Each member of the band brings their own unique flare. Carey Bennett provides the crunchy rhythm guitar. Brett Oliver brings ripping guitar solos. The grooving bass licks come from Chris Comeau, with thoughtful vocals and piano from Tim Gormley. Matt Harper’s driving beats tie the band together. The band's only album Wednesday's Child was released in 2008.
